Rogue software are advertisements for fake software like Firewalls, System Security, Spyware, Adware and Malware removal programs.
Often Rogues are Adware programs that make there way on your computer adding advertisements to your daily activities. The Rogue then scans your computer with fake results and clams to remove the problems if your purchase the fake software.
Today there is over 10,000 Rogues on the Internet and Lavasoft has a list of them all, the public can even submit new Rouges to the Lavasoft site.
