Savings Calculator
Calculate the amount of money you well earn from your savings account annually.
Instructions:
Step 1 – Initial Investment
Enter the starting amount of money you have to invest in the Initial Investment field in dollars.
Example: If you have $5000 in your bank account or planning to open a new account with $5000 enter 5000 into the Initial Investment field.
Note: Only dollars can be entered, no pennies or cents, please round to the nearest dollar.
Step 2 – Monthly Savings (Optional)
Enter the amount the amount of money you plan to deposit every month as your savings into the Monthly Savings field in dollars.
Note: Only dollars can be entered, no pennies or cents, please round to the nearest dollar.
Step 3 – Interest Rate
Enter the banks annual interest rate into the Interest Rate field.
Example: If your banks interest rate is 0.0001% enter 0.0001 into the Interest Rate field.
Step 5 – Term
Enter how many years you plan to invest into the Term field.
Example: If you plan to invest for 1 year enter 1 into the Term field.
Note: Only hole years can be entered.
Step 5 – Calculate
Press the Calculate button to calculate amount invested and interest earned over the term.
Clear Button
This button will clear all fields and results.
Copy Button
This button will copy the calculated results to your computers clipboard (memory) to be pasted into any program of your choice.
